What is Parish Family Faith Formation?
Parish Family Faith Formation is a Scripture-based program designed to reach out to all members of the Parish, enabling the deepening of understanding and love for our Catholic Faith.

As we move into this new phase of faith enrichment for our whole parish family, our present model of Religious Education has been replaced with the Parish Family Faith Formation model.

Phase I (2011-12): Parish Family Faith Formation (PFFF) will begin by reaching out to the families (public school, Catholic school, private school, home-school) of our parish. We will have Monthly Family Faith Days, where the entire family – Mom, Dad, and kids up through grade 9 will gather together as a community for faith enrichment. On Family Faith Days, each family will go home with materials to continue this faith enrichment, within the family setting, throughout the month. All adults of the parish – regardless of age or family status - are invited to participate in the Adult Faith Enrichment.

Grade 10 – Discipleship/Confirmation Prep will run separately from PFFF – information on this will be mailed to applicable families separately.

Phase II (2013-14): PFFF will begin hosting Faith Events targeted toward all members of our parish family. These may include speakers, scripture seminars, mini-retreats specifically designed for men, women, grandparents, the single young adult, married couples, etc…

Phase III (2015-16): PFFF will be fully integrated into our Parish Community. The fruits of this program will be great: the development of deeper faith communication within families, strong community support throughout the parish, renewed love for the Sacraments, growth of new and exciting ministries that sprout from our dynamic faith family, etc...

Everyone in our parish family is invited to participate in
St. Joseph Parish Family Faith Formation!

Availability to participate will be open through June 15, 2011, at which time participation in PFFF will be closed, in order to properly prepare for a Fall 2011 Program beginning.

  2. Catechists are given the opportunity to hear the presentation that will be given to the adults while they are volunteering – so they don’t have to miss out on that important piece.
  3. Catechists are given the opportunity to preview the material and activities they will be covering the next Family Faith Day.
