Saint Joseph Retreats
2006 - 2007

R etreats are a very important element of formation in the lives of young people. They offer the opportunity to reflect upon values, what it means to be a disciple, what it means to be a part of the Catholic Church community. Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation offers a great time for candidates to spend some time in reflection with other youth preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

S aint Joseph ’s Youth Ministry has scheduled multi-parish based retreats for teenagers, as well as retreat programs sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office for Youth Ministry. The retreat days will offer the candidates the opportunity to share fellowship and prayer in a faith community as part of the preparation.

F ormation components for the Retreats 2006-2007 will focus on discipleship and service. Other components include prayer, small group interaction, community building and sharing a meal.

• Grade 7: Retreat January 10 & 11 – Saint Joseph New Parish Hall 4:15-7:45
  
  
• Rally April 12 & 26 – Saint Joseph New Parish Hall 4:15 – 8:15
  
  
• Grade 8: Retreat April 11 – Sean Forrest in New Parish Hall 4:15 – 8:30
  
  
• Grade 9: Retreat January 28 – Sean Forrest in New Parish Hall 3:00 – 7:15
  
  
• Grade 10: Retreat October 2 – Sean Forrest in New Parish Hall 4:15 – 8:30
  
  
• Confirmation Retreat (overnight) at Cathedral Camp in Freetown, MA
  January 20-21 -- January 27-28 -- February 3-4
  
  
• Steubenville East – July 2007 at La Salette, Attleboro, MA (grades 9 and up)
  
  
• Gospel Road – August 2007 (grades 9 and up)
